About Me

Full Stack Engineer

Hello! I'm Chris. I am currently pursing my second degree from ASU in Graphic Information Technology with a concentration in Full Stack Engineering and will finish at the end of June 2023. I love learning how websites and software work. I especially love the idea that I can program a computer or website to do exactly what I want.

I received my first degree from ASU in 2008 in Photography, and I have been working in the photography and printing field for 15 years. I have worked with local studios and print shops in the Phoenix area and have even freelanced as a wedding photographer. What I loved most about being a photographer was having to think on the fly, not only giving the customer what they want, but representing them in the best possible light.

When I was 13, I moved to Singapore, which is in South East Asia. I attended middle and high school at a private American school. During my time over there I got to travel all over Asia and the world. My favorite place to visit was Thailand. I have also spent a significant amount of time in Hong Kong and in 2013 I took a sabbatical from work and went and lived in Beijing, China where I worked on my photography portfolio.
